ToolsRelative of soca star facing charge of sexual assaultA relative of soca artiste Denise "Saucy Wow" Belfon is expected to be charged with grievous sexual assault against one of Belfon's dancers. According to police, around 2 a.m. yesterday, the man entered the room of the backup dancer, who was asleep at the entertainer's Edinburgh 500 home. The woman reported to police that she was awakened by the man who climbed into her bed and tried to assault her. The woman did not raise an alarm but made her way to Chaguanas Police Station, where she lodged a report. Police later arrested the man and placed him in a separate cell as he was reportedly intoxicated. |
