Relatives ID Carlsen Field body

The body with bullet holes found in Carlsen Field, Chaguanas, on Thursday has been identified as that of Andy Mohammed.

Mohammed, 34, of Knaggs Street, Frederick Settlement, Caroni, was identified by relatives who learned of the killing after they went to the police station to report him as missing.

Hours after his body was found, relatives went to the Caroni Police Station and were informed a man fitting his description was discovered in Almond Cove.

Mohammed had tattoos of a spider, scorpion and dragon on his body.

His body bore gunshot wounds to his head and hand.

Police were called to the scene after they received a tip from an anonymous caller.
