Rowley hails ‘a fantastic victory’

Opposition leader Dr Keith Rowley this morning described Barack Obama’s victory in the US presidential elections as "a fantastic victory".

“I am extremely happy,” he said, adding that he thought it might have been more difficult for Obama. Rowley, who was having a celebratory drink with a few friends at his Goodwood Park home, joked that the one (Mitt) Romney man in their midst left early "at the first sight of defeat". "On to the THA election", an exuberant Rowley declared.

"On to Hillary Clinton now for 2016. They have started flying that campaign already...2016 America's first woman President," he added.
