Shot restaurateur remains in ICU

PORT OF SPAIN restaurateur Parmanand “Pancho” Yarna remains in critical but stable condition at Port of Spain General Hospital after sustaining a gunshot wound while on the way to his restaurant last week Friday.
Yarna was moved last weekend to the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit, where he has been ever since.
Between the weekend and yesterday afternoon, Yarna had not developed much complications but, according to close friends and relatives, “he is still touch and go”.
Port of Spain CID officers are continuing investigations into the shooting.
