By Sue-Ann Wayow

THE search continued yesterday for missing 25-year-old car wash owner from Couva, Gwain Jones.

On Friday at around 3.30 p.m., three men armed with guns, grabbed Jones from his business place at the Old Southern Main Road, McBean and carried him off in a black car.

Yesterday, relatives at Jones' home, said everyone were very upset and did not wish to speak to the media. No ransom demands have been made.

Officers from the Couva Police Station are still conducting investigations.

And members of the Coast Guard are searching for a fisherman who went missing after his boat turned over on Friday evening.

Police reports are that around 6 p.m. Anandez Gitnarine and another fisherman went to fish in the Gulf of Paria in the vicinity of Point Lisas when Gitnarine's boat overturned. The other fisherman was rescued but Gitnarine was not seen.

He lives at Lodge Road, Claxton Bay.
