...disruption in flow along Uriah Butler Highway
There will be a disruption in the flow of traffic along the northbound and southbound lanes of the Uriah Butler Highway in the vicinity of Grand Bazaar on Saturday and Sunday evening.
The Ministry of Works and Transport said the disruption would occur as a result of efforts to facilitate the implementation of the new traffic routes for the Churchill Roosevelt Highway/Uriah Butler Highway Interchange.
Following is a traffic advisory release from the Ministry of Works and Transport:
TEMPORARY DISRUPTION ALONG THE URIAH BUTLER HIGHWAY (NORTHBOUND & SOUTHBOUND) IN THE VICINITY OF THE CHURCHILL ROOSEVELT HIGHWAY INTERSECTION
The Ministry of Works and Infrastructure wishes to advise the general public that there will be traffic disruptions along the Northbound and Southbound lanes of the Uriah Butler Highway (UBH) in the vicinity of the intersection with the Churchill Roosevelt Highway (CRH) on Saturday 12th October 2013 and Sunday 13th October 2013, between the hours of 7:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m.
This is to facilitate the implementation of the NEW traffic routes for the CRH/UBH Interchange.
In view of the above, motorists are advised to:-
Proceed with caution and observe all directional signs and barriers.
Comply with instructions from the Police Officers on site to facilitate the flow of traffic in an orderly manner.
Drive at a reduced speed on approaching the work zone.
