no trace: Nayla Douglas

Teen missing for ten days

THE relatives of missing schoolgirl Nayla Douglas are seeking the public's assistance in locating her.

Douglas, 16, a Form Four pupil of Belmont Secondary School, has been missing since December 7.

On that day, the teenager left her family's Lucien Road, Upper Belmont Valley Road, Belmont, home and went to do her hair at her cousin's home.

That was the last time Douglas was seen by relatives.

Douglas was last seen wearing black pants and a green vest.

Relatives said attempts to contact Douglas have been unsuccessful as calls to her cellphone remain unanswered. A missing persons report has been filed at the Belmont Police Station. Anyone with information on Douglas whereabouts can contact the Belmont Police Station at 624-1848.
