Three-day-old baby dies

A THREE-DAY-OLD baby has died.
Police reports are that Abigail Bacchus, 28, fed her son, Ekeziel Bacchus, and placed him in his bed around 4 p.m. yesterday.
Bacchus lives at Jagville Avenue, St Julien, Princes Town.
Police said at 4.45 p.m., she went to check on her son and discovered he was unresponsive.
She took him to Princes Town District Health Facility.
At 5.15 p.m., doctors told Bacchus that her baby died.
His body was taken to the San Fernando mortuary and an autopsy is expected to be conducted today.
Police officers attached to the Homicide Division South visited the home and hospital.
