Paramedic killed in Tobago

...third killing this year

By Susan Mohammed

A Tobago man who was reported missing by his family was discovered dead yesterday. The body of Dane Kent, an emergency medical technician, of Speyside, was found on a hill in Mount Grace.

According to a report, Kent was last seen alive at around 7 p.m. Wednesday.

His vehicle was found in Mount Grace and his body about 100 metres in a forested area. An autopsy is expected on his body today at the Forensic Science Centre in St James.

Kent's murder is the third in Tobago for the year. On January 1 Curtis Lovelace, 54, was killed stabbed by a man over a domestic dispute over a two year old child.

On April 1, contractor James Morris, 67, was chopped to death at his home. Morris, who was also known as "Mr. Mount Pleasant", was robbed of cash and jewellery in the attack.
