Traffic restrictions in PoS for ANR funeral

Roads in Port of Spain will be temporarily closed for three days this week to facilitate the funeral of former president Arthur Napolean Raymond Robinson.
A release from the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Communications stated there will be closure of roads today, tomorrow and Thursday.
The following roads will be closed:
Today from 6 a.m. to 8 a.m.
Tragarete Road between St Vincent Street and Dundonald Street.
Tomorrow from 5 a.m. to 6 a.m.
Tragarete Road between St Vincent Street and Dundonald Street.
Thursday:
(a) From 6 a.m. to 8 a.m. - Tragarete Road between St. Vincent Street and Dundonald Street.
(b) From 7.30 a.m. to 9 a.m. - Frederick Street between Queen’s Park West and Knox Street
The release stated that there will also be no parking zones in various areas:
1. Today from 5 a.m. to 8 a.m.; and
2. Tomorrow from 5 a.m. to 8 a.m.
(a) Tragarete Road between St. Vincent Street and Dundonald Street;
(b) St Vincent Street between Tragarete Road and Independence Square South;
(c) Independence Square South between St Vincent Street and Wrightson Road;
(d) Wrightson Road between Independence Square South to Dock Road;
(e) Dock Road; (f) Richmond Street between Tragarete Road and Independence Square South.
There will be no parking zones on Thursday from 5 a.m. to 4 p.m in the following areas:
(a) Tragarete Road between St Vincent Street and Dundonald Street;
(b) St Vincent Street between Tragarete Road and Independence Square South;
(c) Independence Square North between St. Vincent Street and Chacon Street;
(d) Abercromby Street between Independence Square North and Duke Street;
(e) Knox Street;
(f) Frederick Street;
(g) Broadway; and
(h) Eastern Main Road between South Quay and Citrus Growers Association intersection.
The release stated that unlawfully parked vehicles will be removed in accordance with the laws.
