Tree cutter dies in fall

A CUNUPIA man died on Sunday after he fell from a tree he was cutting.

Anthony Gomez, also known as Michael Gomez, was pronounced dead at Chaguanas Health Centre.

A police report said Lezama went to the home of Kimraj Roodal, at Southern Main Road, located next to Low Cost Supermarket at Cunupia.

He was there to assist in felling a coconut tree. Around 11.30 a.m. he fell to the ground.

Emergency Health Services paramedics took Gomez to the health centre where he died.
