Tunapuna Court to resume operations

THE Ministry of Housing and the Environment advised yesterday that effective last week, the court order which resulted in the closure of the Tunapuna Administrative Complex since September 21, 2011, has been lifted.

This allows for the resumption of operations at that site for the Tunapuna Magistrates' Court, the Ministry of Community Development's St George East Administration District Office, the Elections and Boundaries Commission, the Ministry of Planning and the Economy's Town and Country Planning Division, the Ministry of Finance's District Revenue Office and TTPost.

The Housing Ministry also advised that with the lifting of the close order, the affected agencies will soon advise the public on the resumption of operating schedules at that site.
