Weekes, Frauenfelder still leading Kings and Queens

As the National Carnival King and Queen of Carnival competition moves into the final round tomorrow at the Queen's Park Savannah, Port of Spain, Gerard Weekes and Liselle Frauenfelder continue to lead the standings in the King and Queen categories, respectively, following Tuesday night's semi-final round at the Savannah.

Weekes, who is portraying "Aito Yujo No Yorokobi" (The Joy of Love and Friendship) from Brian MacFarlane's presentation, Joy the Finale, scored 445 points.

Frauenfelder scored 443 points, with "Danis Wantaim—The Dance of Reconcilliation" from the band D Krewe Company.

Ten competitors from each category have moved into tomorrow's final.
