Wendy's reality show 'moving ahead'

FORMER Miss Universe Wendy Fitzwilliam says that Caribbean's Next Top Model (CNTM), a reality show she is hosting and executive-producing, is in the post-production phase and is "moving ahead".

She also announced she has begun penning her second book.

CNTM was scheduled to begin airing on US network CBS last month and run until February this year.

Fitzwilliam said yesterday that principal photography has been completed but the post-production process "has taken a little longer than we expected".

The Sunday Express met Fitzwilliam, accompanied by her five-year-old son Ailan, as she distributed balloons to sick children during Bellissima Balloons' "Cheer Distribution" held yesterday at the Just Because Foundation Paediatric Specialty Unit at the eponymous Wendy Fitzwilliam Paediatric Hospital, Mt Hope.

The event was the brainchild of Daychelle Morris, director of the balloon art and decoration business.
