Williams to probe death threat
ACTING Commissioner of Police Stephen Williams yesterday promised to investigate reports that threats were made to Burlinda Solomon-Sobers prior to her chopping death at her Orchid Lane, Bucco home in Tobago on Tuesday.
Ag CoP Williams spoke about the issue when he was asked about it yesterday morning during a police media conference at their headquarters, Port of Spain.
Solomon-Sobers, 36 who was the mother of a 13-year-old girl had an estranged relationship with a 55-year-old carpenter named, Daniel Benjamin.
Solomon-Sobers' body was found in her house while Benjamin was found frothing in another room.
Solomon-Sobers relatives told the Express that last week Saturday she received a visit from her killer and she told him not to come back to her house when he threatened her.
They said they contacted the Old Grange Police Station about the issue but they never responded.
