The woman who was in the motor vehicular accident which claimed the life of Wayne Llewellyn on Sunday afternoon has also died as a result of injuries sustained in the collision.
This was confirmed by police sources yesterday, who said that 32-year-old Kimberly Taylor, of St James, died while en route to the Port of Spain General Hospital on Sunday.
According to police reports, at about 2 p.m. on Sunday, Llewellyn was driving his Mitsubishi Lancer car north along the Lady Young Road, in the vicinity of Massy Motors, when he collided with a Nissan SUV. Witnesses said Llewellyn was attempting to overtake traffic when there was a collision with the van.
Llewellyn died at the scene, while Taylor was rushed to the hospital.
At the Forensic Science Centre in St James yesterday, relatives revealed that Taylor was a mother of three who worked as a nail technician and a hair specialist who was a “kind and loving” person. They said the family was still trying to come to terms with the incident.
