Tools'Faceless': a hit-and-runTHE faceless man found at Moruga identified as father of two, Shurland Chance, died from injuries suffered when he was hit by a vehicle and dragged along the road. Pathologist Dr Valery Alexandrov conducted the autopsy yesterday at the Forensic Science Centre, in St James and found that Chance, of Moruga, suffered multiple blunt-force trauma on his head consistent with a road traffic accident. Chance, 29, of Rochard Douglas Road, St Mary's Village, was found by his cousin at around 4 a.m. Saturday, on the roadside near his home. Police had initially suspected that Chance may have been shot in the face because he was involved in a fight at a bar the night before he was found. Police are now working to get information on the hit-and-run driver. |
