'Hit-and-run' in Central

POLICE are seeking the assistance of the public in identifying the body of a homeless man knocked down and killed on the highway yesterday.

Police said that around 9 a.m., the man was hit on the North-bound lane of the Solomon Hochoy Highway, in the vicinity of Charlieville.

The driver of the vehicle involved in the incident is unknown. Anyone with information can contact the Chaguanas CID at 665-5271. —SM
