'Missing' teen dies in crash

A CHAGUANAS woman who went to police to report that her 19-year-old daughter was missing, discovered that that her child had been killed in an car crash days before.

Narisha Khan identified the body of her daughter, Audriana Khan, on Monday at the mortuary of the San Fernando General Hospital, hours after she went to the Chaguanas Police Station to file a missing persons report.

Police said Audriana Khan was killed in a crash along the Uriah Butler Highway early Saturday morning. She was the front seat passenger of the vehicle driven by St Lucian national Wade Stuart Mills, who also died when the vehicle slammed into an electricity pole near the Caroni overpass.

Mills, 33, was the acting chief executive officer of the State-owned Trinidad and Tobago Entertainment Company Ltd, and had been residing at Curepe.
