ToolsBaptiste hunts precious metalKelly-Ann Baptiste's semifinal run of 11 seconds flat proved to be good enough to secure a berth in the women's 100 metres final in London. Her third place finish behind Jamaica's Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce (10.85) and Allyson Felix of the USA (10.94) did not gain her one of the two automatic qualifying spots. However her time, which was the seventh fastest overall, secured her a position in the hunt for precious metal as one of the fastest losers. .Most Popular |
