Semoy Hackett finished eighth in the women's 200 metres final at the Olympic Stadium in London on Tuesday (August 8).
The T&T sprinter failed to improve on the 22.52 seconds she clocked in the semifinals, completing the half-lap event in 22.87
Allyson Felix (USA) grabbed gold in 21.88 seconds, with Jamaica's Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce second in 22.09 and Carmelita Jeter, also of the US, third in 22.14
