Women sprint relay snares berth in final

Trinidad and Tobago's women's 4 x 100m relay squad of Michelle-Lee Ahye, Kelly-Ann Baptiste, Kai Selvon and Semoy Hackett produced a new national record of 42.31 seconds to advance to Friday's final.

The T&T quarter finished second to the United States (41.64) in the first of two qualifying heats to advancing automatically to the final.

T&T will be running out of lane 4 in tomorrow's championship race.
