Jamaica girls reach C’bean finals

Jamaica stopped Dominican Republic 7-0 on Sunday to secure their place at the finals of the 2014 Caribbean Football Union (CFU) Women’s Caribbean Cup at the Estadio Panamericano in the Dominican Republic.

Jamaica now join the other group winners Antigua & Barbuda, Bermuda, Martinique and Haiti at 2014 Women Caribbean Cup set for August in Trinidad and Tobago.

The goal scorers were Shakira Duncan in the 3rd, 23rd, 64th and 77th minute, Omolyn Davis in the 31st and 90th minute and Donnakay Henry in the 42nd. The Jamaicans (Reggae Girls) who also outplayed St Lucia 14-0 in their game against St Lucia last Friday have netted 21 times in this competition and taken maximum six points.
