Age-group swimmers bid for Carifta selection

Starting today, Trinidad and Tobago age-group swimmers aged 11 to 18 will be making their final bid to qualify for the national team for the April 21-27 Carifta  Swimming Championships.

They will be on show at the National Long Course Age Group Championships, a five-day meet at Marlins Swimming Pool in Westmoorings.

Besides being the last opportunity for locally-based swimmers to qualify for the Carifta Games, the event is sanctioned by FINA, the world governing body for aquatic sports,  meaning times achieved at this meet are eligible for consideration for the 2015 FINA World Championships in Kazan, Russia.
