Trinidad and Tobago’s preparations for the 2014 regional cricket season will continue this weekend with a three-day trial match bowling off on Friday at the National Cricket Centre, Balmain Couva from 10 a.m.
It will be the second three-day match for the T&T cricketers as they gear up for the Regional Super50 and Regional Four-Day Tournament.
In the previous three-day trial, Evin Lewis stood out among the batsmen with a second innings century while the spinners dominated with the ball with left-armer Kavesh Kantasingh and leg-spinner Yannic Cariah both getting five-wicket hauls.
Marlon Richards was pick of the pacers with two wickets in the first innings and three in the second.
Medium pacer Rayad Emrit returns to the starting line-up for the game, lining up alongside Richards, Lewis and Kantasingh in the Yannick Ottley-led Team A.
Team B will be led by Jason Mohammed and includes pacers Shannon Gabriel and Kevon Cooper as well leg-spinner Cariah.
