Bishop’s girls celebrate SSFL Tobago title
Bishop’s High School Tobago clinched the BG T&T/First Citizens Girls Secondary Schools Football League (SSFL) Tobago Zone title, thanks to their 4-0 win over Signal Hill in their penultimate match of the league on Thursday.
Shervell Ravello and Kerecia Simon scored two goals each to give their team the trophy with a game to spare.
Bishop’s are now on 24 points from nine matches with eight wins and one defeat--good enough for their second successive zonal crown.
Fyzabad Secondary also won on Thursday, beating Mayaro Secondary 5-0 to stay in contention for the South Zone title.
Fyzabad have 18 points from seven matches, and if they win their final game against Siparia today, they will be crowned the new South Zone champions.
