Carter fourth at 'Speedo' Championships

Top national junior swimmer Dylan Carter splashed to a fourth place finish in the Men's 100 yard freestyle to end his campaign at the 2012 Speedo Winter Junior National Swimming Championships in Tennessee on Saturday night.

On the final night of the three-day swim meet, the 16-year-old Carter touched the time pad in 43.84 seconds behind another 16-year-old, Bolles School Sharks Caeleb Dressel (43.29), and a pair of 17-year-old competitors in North Texas, Nadadores Brett Ringgold (43.44) and Dressel's teammate Santo Condorelli (43.70).

Representing Davie Nadadores, Carter, a multiple CARIFTA, Caribbean Island Swimming Championship (CISC) and Central American and Caribbean Swimming Championships (CCCAN) champion and record holder, was trying to add to his personal tally of two golds and one bronze he won on the previous two nights

At the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, Carter won both the men's 200 yard freestyle (1:35.29) and the Men's 100 yard backstroke (47.22) on Friday, after he claimed bronze in the Men's 50 yard freestyle (19.94).
