CRIME OF PASSION, who is unraced since arriving in Trinidad, should make a winning bow if sent out this Saturday.

On Sunday morning, the chestnut importation conditioned by leading trainer John O'Brien, was partnered by top rider Emile Ramsammy when working alongside last year's Midsummer Classic winner Onetokeep over 600 metres. They turned in a good 36.06, which was the third fastest time of the morning over 600 metres on the main course. He was easy throughout the work with Onetokeep, and strode away readily up the homestretch leaving his partner toiling in his wake.

Gold Cup winner Mobthewarrior, who failed to fire in the February 23 ARC Cup won by creole Galveston, recorded the second fastest time of 36.01 over 600 metres. Creole Onefortheroad, who should be seen out in the 1,350m Starlight Stakes, breezed over 800m in a solo spin and came back in a good 51.82.

However, the workout of the morning came from Strikes Not Spares, who breezed from the gates in a bullet 34.30 over 600m. On the turf , Casino Host fired a bullet 49.19 over 800m and should warrant support if entered.

Elsewhere, imported maiden filly Immortal Flame did 36.01 over 600m on the turf but one should be guarded if supporting her on this surface.

Three-year-old maidens Uncle Max and Release D Beast also worked, alongside imported Slewjero, who was the strongest of the trio, while creole maidens Brash N Willing and King James were sharpened from the gates in a good 38.40.

First-time winner Honour Roll who was partnered by Nobel Abrego in his spin, while maiden Sweet Genius was stronger than Sweet Genius, but was made to work to maintain his advantage.

Meanwhile, last year's Trinidad Derby Stakes winner Free Passage continued to display improvement and he will take some beating in the Starlight Stakes on March 23.
