Defending Premier Division Sunday League champions Queen’s Park Cricket Club will be going for their sixth consecutive win of the 2014 competition when they face Moosai Sports in the Sunday League day/night quarter-final match at Endeavour Ground from 2.30 p.m. today.
The Parkites finished at the top of Group A and are the only unbeaten team in the competition while Moosai placed fourth in Group B with two wins including one over Jenexcon Tableland Sports who topped the group.
Tableland face Seenath’s Auto Bamboo Sports in the quarter-final game at Syne Village in Penal while last year’s losing finalists PowerGen go up against Caldrac Club at Diamond Ground.
Merry Boys, who were second in Group A, face First Citizens Clarke Road United, who were third in Group B in the other quarter-final to be played at Calcutta Ground.
All matches start at 2.30 p.m. The semi-finals take place next Tuesday and Wednesday and are also day/night games.
