Clarke Road 2nd in Premier Division

First Citizens Clarke Road United defeated Caldrac Club by 174 runs at Wilson Road, Penal, yesterday to finish the Premier Division league competition in second place, behind new champions PowerGen Penal.

Clarke Road dismissed Caldrac for 166 and 85 with Derone Davis grabbing seven for 21 in the second innings to wrap up the victory.

Queen’s Park Cricket Club (QPCC) also recorded an easy win, defeating F&E Diamond United by an innings and 51 runs.
PowerGen won the league title on the first day of their contest against Moosai Sports, on Saturday, at Honeymoon Park, El Dorado. Yesterday, Moosai dismissed the new champions for 234 to clinch first innings points.
