Club Sando hold solid lead in Super League

 Club Sando solidified their lead atop the blink/ bmobile national Super League when they trounced Tobago team Bethel United 5-0 in the latest round of matches Sunday.

Teba Mc Knight scored a hat-trick, while Corneal Thomas and Devon Modeste scored one apiece to earn Club Sando their 12th victory of the 2013 campaign. Club Sando, with a game in hand,  are now on 38 points, two ahead of Malabar Football Club who also won their game Sunday against  Real Maracas FC 3-0, with Guaya United, who have two games in hand,  in third on 34.

For Malabar, Gorian Highley netted a double, while Cyrano Glen booted in one for that result.

In a high-scoring game, 1976 Phoenix FC got the better of Joe Public 4-2. Lejandro Williams scored a double with Shelton Williams and Akil Frank chipping in with one each for Phoenix.

 Richard Inniss and Desmond Baptiste were the scorers for Joe Public.

In other results Sunday, FC Santa Rosa shut out Westside Superstarz C 3-0, while Stokely Vale beat Siparia Spurs 1-0 and T&T Defence Force defeated WASA FC by the same margin.
