Costa 22nd in Caribbean Road Race

Trinidad and Tobago's Guy Costa finished 22nd in the Caribbean Cycling Championship Road Race, in Antigua yesterday, out of a field of 88 starters.

Costa completed the 84-mile race in three hours, 43 minutes, 52 seconds. However, the other T&T riders—Troy Nelson, Jovian Gomez, Joshua Alexander and Collin Wilson—did not finish the race.

Guadeloupe's Boris Carene won in 3:35:46.

Barbados rider Darren Matthew, who was the overall winner of Division One of the Tobago Cycling Classic, was fourth in Antigua in a time of 3:35:48.
