Daren Ganga stars in trial match

Former captain Daren Ganga staked a claim for inclusion in Trinidad and Tobago's Champions League Twenty20 squad when he hit an unbeaten 69 off 51 balls (five fours, two sixes) as the Rayad Emrit XI beat the Jason Mohammed XI by five runs in the second trial match at the National Cricket Centre (NCC) in Balmain, Couva yesterday.

Ganga shared a third wicket stand of 81 with Justin Guillen (39 balls, four fours) as the Emrit XI made 135 for four in their 20 overs batting first. In reply, the Mohammed XI got to 130 for nine when their overs ran out.
