WELL CLEAR: American-bred Danzig’s Day, with Ronald ‘Tiger’ Ali astride, races to the finish line in last Saturday’s curtain event on the 10-race card at Santa Rosa Park, Arima. The bay gelding, owned by Maniram ‘Boboy’ Maharaj and trained by his son Ricky Maharaj, scored by four lengths in the 30 & Lower rated event. He was followed home by Justmyluck, favourite Star Dreamer, Insidious, and Bananachips, in that order.
