ToolsFatima trump 'Saints' in water poloFatima College whipped St Mary's 11-6 last weekend in the Open Male category of the First Citizens National Secondary Schools Water polo League at Flying FIsh Swimming Pool. The Mucurapo Road schools sped into the lead by the end of the first quarter with a 4-1 advantage, but St Mary's fought back to make things interesting by half time, 3-1 shooting in the second period reducing their deficit to 5-4. But Fatima reversed that scorelined to go into the final perido with an 8-5 lead, where another four goals was enough to ensure a comfortable victory. Fatima's goals came from Justin Bhola, who scored three, while Russell Ferreira, Giovanni Newallo andAndrew Too-a-Foo all had two apiece. The two other goals were shared by Gregorio Felician and Kyle Ferreira. For the "Saints" Adrian Hinds and Daniel Alvarez each found the mark twice, while Jonathan Gillette and Andrew Chin Lee added a goal each.
