Greene bags silver, bronze at US trials

Carlos Greene earned silver and bronze at the United States Paralympic trials, in Indianapolis, Indiana, recently.

Competing in the F11 category for visually impaired field athletes, Greene finished second in the men's shot put with a 10.21 metres throw.

And in the discus, the Trinidad and Tobago thrower produced a 27.11m effort to cop third spot.

Greene is preparing for the August 29-September 9 Paralympic Games, in London, England. Greene and swimmer Shanntol Ince will represent T&T at the Games.
