Guaya back on top

Guaya United are back on top of the  blink/bmobile National Super League standings, and a win away from securing the title in their debut season, after they grabbed a 1-0 away win over FC Santa Rosa, on Sunday.

Former Pro League striker Ryan Stewart scored the winning goal 10 minutes from time.

Guaya can determine their fate and the championship with a win against Siparia Spurs on Sunday.

Joe Public, meanwhile, suffered yet another loss, this time 4-0 to Real Maracas, Marvin Maxwell scoring a hat-trick for the winners.

Joe Public are now in a must-win situation on Sunday when they travel to Arima to face the league’s most potent attacking team, Malabar FC, at the Larry Gomes Stadium.
