Justin Guillen continued his impressive run of form, yesterday, scoring his third century in as many innings to lead the Amit Jaggernauth XI to 344 for nine at the close of play on the first day of the three-day practice match against a Gibran Mohammed XI, at the National Cricket Centre, in Balmain, Couva.
Guillen scored 158, while his young opening partner, Isaiah Rajah slammed 146 as they dominated the bowling on the opening day of the trial match.
Leg-spinner Imran Khan was the pick of the bowlers for Gibran Mohammed's team, snatching seven for 72 to ensure his name is on the selectors' minds when they meet to select the four-day team early next month, ahead of T&T's first regional four-day match against the Windward Islands, bowling off on February 15 at Arnos Vale, St Vincent.
The trial match resumes today at 10 a.m.
