ToolsMohammed out T&T squad to tour South Africa
West Indies skipper Merissa Aguilleira will lead
the Trinidad and Tobago women’s team on a tour of South Africa from April 3 to 19. The Trinidad and Tobago Women’s Cricket Association (TTWCA) announced the team yesterday that omits injured Anisa Mohammed, who recently returned from the West Indies tour of Sri Lanka along with Aguilleira. During this goodwill tournament the team will play both 50-over and T20 matches. Four new players have been selected on the senior team, although Rackeal Bissoon was originally selected last year for the WICB senior tournament in August, but had to withdraw on account of injury. The other newcomers are Chantal Emmanuel, Samantha Bissoon and Selene O’Neil. Aguilleira will have Shenelle Lord as her deputy.
