Molino named player of the week

Kevin Molino, the Orlando City SC and Trinidad and Tobago national football team midfielder, was named USL PRO player of the week after scoring three goals in two road wins last week. Molino’s Orlando City team currently plays in the second tier in USA (soccer), but are to be elevated to the top flight Major League Soccer (MLS) next season.
Molino, the 2012 USL PRO Most Valuable Player, netted two goals in a 3-2 win over the FC Dallas reserves a couple weeks ago, then added a game-winning tally in a 2-1 win over the Oklahoma City Energy FC last Saturday night. Lions’ midfielder Adama Mbengue was also named to the team of the week. The two wins kept Orlando City atop the USL PRO standings with 14 points, tied with LA Galaxy II, with one game in hand.
