Orlando City Soccer Club have announced their first official signing. Trinidad and Tobago midfielder Kevin Molino will be OCSC’s first-ever MLS signing for the 2015 season. Molino will have a guaranteed spot on the 2015 MLS squad and will play in the final USL Pro season this year.
Molino had already played two seasons with Orlando in the second tier of USA football before they joined the MLS, the top flight.
“Kevin was out of contract with us and was being courted heavily in Europe and the States. He’s turned down deals from several MLS teams to stay with us in Orlando. That says a lot about his love for this club,” said Adrian Heath, head coach of OCSC. “He will be a great asset for us again in ‘14 and moving forward into MLS. Molino is a top performer for the club and Orlando City is fortunate to have him.
