NAAA celebrate 3 more medals

 The National Asso­cia­tion of Athletics Admi­nistration (NAAA) yester­day congratulated the men’s 4x400m quar­tet of Lalonde Gordon, Jarrin Solo­man, Renny Quow and Zwede Hewitt on bringing home the bronze medal from the Common­wealth Games being held in Glasgow Scotland. 

The athletics body also extended their “hear­ty” congratulations  to Keshorn Wal­cott for securing silver in the javelin with a throw of 82.67, and the men’s 4x100m relay team of Keston Bledman, Marc Burns, Rondel Sorrillo and Richard Thompson on their bronze medal run. 

The NAAA release stated: “The Com­mon­wealth Games are now over and track and field has secured seven medals (3 silver 4 bronze) out of eight won at these games, once again showing their prowess on the world stage. We would like to congratulate the entire track-and- field contingent on a job well done and wish them a safe journey home.”
