Richard Noel was the big winner at the Sportworld Classic 2012 Bodybuilding Invitational at Centre of Excellence in Macoya on Saturday night, snatching both the Men's Heavyweight (90-plus kg) and the Overall Men's titles.

Noel, who has competed for Trinidad and Tobago at the Central American and Caribbean (CAC) Championships, beat the consistency of Neal Bonaparte and the experience of Cleon Maurice Pierre to take the heavyweight title.

Bonaparte and Pierre were second and third, respectively.

Shani Rocke was impressive, too, taking the Body Fitness Open category ahead of Michelle Bailey (second) and Tamika Alexander-Powder (third), for the overall body fitness win.

Zaahid Hosein took home the light heavyweight (maximum 90 kg) class title, with Fidel Sankar second and Jermin Jones third.

The Men's Middleweight (maximum 80 kg) and Men's Lightweight (maximum 70 kg) crowns went to Zelus Williams and Errald Thorne, respectively, while Demitri Bessems, in his first outing, impressed both the judges and the crowd to stride away with the Novice title.

Onlookers were also treated to the presence of reigning Mr Olympia, Phillip "The Gift" Heath, who appeared as guest poser during the competition.
