Novices to get chance in President’s Cup

 The Trinidad and Tobago Amateur Boxing Association will host four nights of boxing for novice and intermediate boxers in the President’s Cup.

The bouts starts at 7 pm on both Thursday and Friday and from 1 pm on Saturday and Sunday at the Cosmic Boxing Gym in Marabella.

According to TTABA president Cecil Forde, the hosting of the fights is “in keeping with its promise to keep our young athletes fit and on their feet .”

The preliminary weigh-in and draw took place on Sunday from 1 pm  at the same venue.

Over 60 boxers are expected to participate.

81kg novice

64kg intermediate
