All-rounders Khary Pierre and Isaiah Rajah both scored half centuries yesterday to lead a strong reply for the Amit Jaggernauth XI on the second day of their three-day practice match against a Justin Guillen XI at the National Cricket Centre, Balmain Couva.
Pierre top-scored with 65 while Rajah hit 56 to lead their team to 360 for nine off 102 overs replying to Guillen XI's total of 277 all out.
Spinner Kavesh Kantasingh was the top bowler for Guillen's team, taking three for 59 from 25 overs, while Sherwin Ganga and Sanjiv Gooljar chipped in with two wickets each.
The match resumes today from 10 a.m. with Amit Jaggernauth on 30 not out and Uthman Mohammed on 29 not out continuing their team's innings.
