Pacer Ravi Rampaul has been included in the Trinidad and Tobago squad for their opening Regional Four-day and Super50 matches against the Windward Islands later this month.
Rampaul, who missed T&T's successful defence of their Caribbean T20 title last month and the current West Indies one-day series in Australia, has been included in a squad of 13 for both assignments. Denesh Ramdin will captain a side minus West Indies players Darren and Dwayne Bravo, Kieron Pollard and Sunil Narine. It is still a strong one, with experienced spinners Amit Jaggernauth and Kavesh Kantasingh included as well as fast bowler Shannon Gabriel and seamer Rayad Emrit.
The regional season begins next week with the Super50 series on Thursday to be followed two days' later by the first round of the four-day tournament.
T&T will be on a first round bye in both competitions. They will begin their Super50 campaign at Arnos Vale in St Vincent against the Windwards on February 21. This will follow the start of the four-day series against the same opponents from February 15-18.
T&T squad: Denesh Ramdin (Captain) Adrian Barath, Justin Guillen, Marlon Barclay, Lendl Simmons, Evin Lewis, Jason Mohammed, Imran Khan, Amit Jaggernauth, Kavesh Kantasingh, Ravi Rampaul, Rayad Emrit, Shannon Gabriel
For the Super 50: Marlon Barclay, Amit Jaggernauth and Kavesh Kantasingh will be replaced by Samuel Badree, Yannick Ottley and Kevon Cooper
