SFA Executive Cup final on Thursday

 The Southern Football Association (SFA) will wrap up its 2013 competitions with its Executive Cup final tomorrow. 

This knockout tournament kickoff at 7 p.m. and will see the two top teams of the SFA 2013 season, the University of Trinidad and Tobago (UTT) and Petrotrin Palo Seco Sporting Club meeting in the final. The teams are also due to meet later in the week in a possible Petrotrin Super League Big six championship decider. 

The Executive Cup final showcases the top southern football talent and promises to be a thriller. Both finalist a contesting League honours as well.

UTT, coached by former national coach Everard “Gally” Cummings and former national captain Clayton Morris, have shown remarkable improvement as the season progressed and are on track for the SFA 2013 League title. 

The “Oilboys”, under former national striker and Pro League T&TEC coach Dexter Cyrus and former United Petrotrin coach Brian Williams (technical director), have had one of their best seasons in recent times. They have already won the 2013 SFA League Knockout Cup and reached the quarter-finals of the 2013 National FA Trophy playoff, and could win the SFA 2013 League as well.
