Serrette elected CACAC vice-president

National Association of Athletics Administrations (NAAA) president Ephraim Serrette is the new Central American and Caribbean Athletic Confederation (CACAC) second vice-president.

Serrette was elected to the post at the CACAC Congress, in El Salvador, on the weekend. The former Trinidad and Tobago sprinter will serve on the executive for the 2012-2016 term.

Haiti's Alain Jean Pierre is the new CACAC president, and the first vice-president is Bahamian Alpheus Finlayson. Cuba's Jesus Molina was elected third vice-president, while the members at large are Esther Maynard (Barbados), Rey O'Neil (British Virgin Islands) and Roberto Berdesia (Costa Rica).
