Shiva win South semi again

Shiva Boys College yesterday advanced to the South Zone Secondary Schools InterCol final after winning a replay against Pleasantville Secondary by a 2-0 margin at the Mannie Ramjohn Stadium in Marabella.

The delayed South final between Shiva Boys and the San Fernando-based Presentation College will now take place Monday from 4 pm, at the same venue.

Yesterday 's replay was ordered after Pleasantville protested the use of a player by Shiva during their earlier 4-0 loss and the Secondary Schools Football League (SSFL) decided on a full replay.

Yesterday, Shiva won once again with goals by Shivon Maynard in the 55th and Kyle Paul in the 72nd minute of play.

Today, the North Zone final will be contested between defending champions St Anthony's College and Diego Martin North Secondary at the Hasely Crawford Stadium from 4pm.
