T&T U-15 girls whip Barbados 4-0

 Trinidad and Tobago girls under 15 team will look for a second win at the CONACACAF Under-15 Girls Championship when they take on Bermuda from 5.30 p.m. today at the Ed Bush Sports Complex in the Cayman Islands.

The junior Soca Princesses showed they benefitted from having played against thier elders in the local women’s league this season, outclassing Barbados 4-0 in their opening Group B match Tuesday night. 

Two goals came from main striker Laurel Theodore, one of the top scorers last season for national schoolgirls champions St Augustine Secondary. Theodore netted in the 51st and 54th minutes as Trinidad and Tobago led by two goals in either half. 

Defender Shenieka Paul opened the scoring in the 16th minute, before Nia Honore got a second before the interval. Also winning in Group B was Hondorus, who defeated Bermuda 1-0. Meanwhile, host Cayman Islands inflicted a 5-0 thumping of the British Virgin Island (BVI) in Group A on the opening day.
